Feel Good Now

In the book Ask and It Is Given by Jerry and Esther Hicks, there’s a principle that becomes primary to all others. If you really condense it all, it comes to these three words, Feel Good Now. That’s all there is to it, but is it really that easy?

When you are in a state of feeling good then you are in a vibrational alignment with the things that you want in your life.

If you are not feeling good then you are focused on what you do NOT like and do Not want and are busy attracting more things that you do not want.

So, to completely over simplify the concept, your only job is to feel good now. If you’re doing something that doesn’t make you feel good then get up and walk away go do something different.

I’ve heard stories of CEOs who would get bad news in their business and they would say “O.K. I’m going to go play golf,” and everyone else in the company would be running around like crazy saying “Golf? You’re going to go play golf right now? We have a huge problem!”

He would say to them “We do have a huge problem and you’re not going to find a solution with that attitude, so what I’m going to do is take a break and go do something that makes me feel good. I know the solution will come. I know that it will all work out for my best. I know it’s going to be ok and my only job is to feel good now.”

So don’t allow yourself to get trapped into the vortex of negative emotions. Be aware and check yourself so that you can live by the mantra:

Feel Good Now

Open Your Valve

When you turn on the faucet all the way water starts gushing out. And if you start closing that valve, a little bit less water comes out until that valve is all the way shut and nothing comes out.

This picture in your mind right now is exactly how energy flows through us. We have a constant supply of unlimited energy flowing all the time. It never ends. We have no control over it either. The only thing that we can influence is how OPEN we are to receiving it.

In essence, it’s a matter of how open our valve is.

The very nature of our world is kind, loving, and it is positive. It’s only when we close that valve that we begin to resonate with the negative and darker aspects.

And I promise you if you were finding yourself defeated, depressed, lonely, worried, fearful, or powerless then your valve is not open.

Some people I see in life seem to have everything come to them so easily. It’s like they don’t have to put effort into it, while I find myself struggling to get the results I want. I see some people toiling day in and day out, fighting an uphill battle to achieve their dreams and it boils down to this point.

The ones who make it seem so effortless are the ones with their valve wide open.

They are the ones with the self awareness. The ones that have done the work and are free to be themselves. They are open to the world and they beam light and love to everyone they cross paths with.

So the next time you go to the sink and turn the water on, ask yourself “How open is my valve? Is my life flowing the way that it should?”

The Power Of Support

Have you ever had an idea for something new and no matter how excited you get, it seems the people around you are never as excited.

You know what I’m talking about. You get a new exercise video and you’re excited to do it, but your spouse says “That’s a waste of money. You’ll never do that.” You get an online course and you’re pumped to learn some new skills, and as soon as you start telling a friend about it they say “Oh that’s a crazy idea! You’ll never do that.” Sometimes, it’s even disguised a little bit. It might be they don’t actually tell us we can’t do it. Maybe they just giggle for a second or roll their eyes, but it happens to all of us and the first thing to do is be aware that it happens.

Then you can begin to do something differently and have a different outcome.

One of the absolute most important things for you to do is surround yourself with people that love and support, not only you, but the things that you’re trying to do. Your mission is to create a tight knit group that sends you good intention and good energy. It’s called a support system, and it’s literally a group of people that you choose to share your goals and dreams with.

Here’s the catch though. Those people must send you back messages of SUPPORT. Things like “You can do it. I believe in you. You’re a champion.” Without a support system we tend to let other people’s voices become louder than our own. We let other people’s beliefs influence and sway us away from our goals, and it’s just the nature of unhappy people.

“You can do it. I believe in you. You’re a champion.”

So, if you are aware of this, then you can use this power to your advantage. By having a “Support System” you will be influenced and impacted by the positive reinforcement that your team gives you. Even if its a small group of friends, or it’s a forum on a Facebook page. Even if it’s just a blog of like-minded people that are going through something similar, make it a priority to have that constant input of positive attention from people that want to see you win.
